    About Daily Red

    Daily Red is a daily Pokémon challenge, like Wordle: every day everyone gets the same six random level 100 Pokémon from Generations 1–3 and climbs the mountain to battle RED, the champion, with his team from Mt. Silver. You get one ranked battle a day. Beat RED and you join today's champions in the Hall of Fame; win day after day to build a streak.

    Every battle runs on the real Pokémon FireRed engine, in your browser. The site doesn't include the game: you load your own Pokémon FireRed (USA, version 1.0 or 1.1) ROM once, from your own cartridge, and the site patches it into Daily Red on your device.

    How to play

    1. Load your FireRed ROM and pick a trainer name.
    2. Press Play, walk up the stairs and talk to RED.
    3. Your first battle of the day counts for the Hall of Fame. After it, Play again lets you rematch the day's team as often as you like.
    4. A new team arrives every day at midnight UTC.
